The KERN MBC Baby Scale is an elegantly designed scale with EC type approvals and medical use approval, intended for professional use in medical diagnostics. Verification is optional and additionally approved for medical use according to 93/42/EEC. It is particularly popular in pediatrics due to its large scale tray which is ergonomically rounded and suitable for weighing newborns. It also has a special function for neonatal centers which allows for calculation of weight before and after feeding. Made of durable ABS plastic, it is easy to clean and has a safe and non-slip footing from rubberized legs. The hold function allows for stable weight calculation if patients are not lying completely still. The MBC-E is identical to the MBC, except it does not have a network adapter. The KERN MBC can be powered by battery or network and an optional set of rechargeable batteries can be obtained with the device.
